As the Holiday Season draws near, The Drew McLachlan Memorial Fund is excited to kick off our first 12 Days of Giving.
The 12 Days Of Giving program will take place on the first 12 weekdays of December, and we need your help to fill the baskets of gifts to be distributed at Overlook Hospital. Both Drew and his mother Jan received some excellent care from the Overlook staff and we are excited to give back. The Board is asking for donations of new or gently used books, socks, hats, puzzles, and the like. The patients are often cold, and love to have something to read or do while they are going through their treatment. We were told specifically NOT to include any food items. The baskets will already contain cozy blankets embroidered with the words "unflappable", complements of our great friends at Nightingale NJ, Kelly McNamara and Chris Kellogg. |
